The essence of good customer service is forming a relationship with one's customers - a relationship that individual customers feel that they would like to pursue. How do you go about forming such a relationship? By remembering the one true secret of good customer service and acting accordingly; "You will be judged by what you do, not what you say."
Our customers are not only our tattoo-removal clients, but our volunteers and financial supporters as well. From our earliest stages of formation, we have elevated this collaborative relationship to be our highest priority, and we continue to keep this as the guiding principle in our work every day.
Our tattoo-removal clients look to us for help in overcoming the unintended effect of an action which seemed like a good idea at the time, but has grown into a problem as they have progressed forward in life. The tattoo that had once seemed a vibrant and energetic form of self-expression has now become a roadblock to achieving the very success that it was intended to inspire.
Our mission is to provide assistance for these people who are caught in a "Catch-22", who are unable to advance to better jobs because of their visible tattoos, but who cannot afford the very expensive removal process that would allow them to be viable candidates for the jobs.
Like any effective army, our volunteers embrace the core attributes of excellent service, including: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, and Integrity. They have a passion to serve, a collaborative spirit, and will go the extra mile to make sure that their contributions are the best they have to give.
Our volunteers are often working to gain academic credits, to fulfill community service responsibilities, or to gain job experience in an office environment. We strive to provide a stimulating and engaging work atmosphere that is both fun and rewarding to each volunteer, in the hope that they will each carry with them some enhanced skills, and also some good memories of the time they spent serving with us.
From the very beginning, Ink Release has enjoyed enthusiastic support from our friends, neighbors, and local companies in Kitsap County and the surrounding area. They have given generously through donations of time, money, and expertise, in order to ensure that the foundation that we are building upon is stable, yet agile, and they continue to be our best advocates in the field.
We strive to recognize our donors' generosity through tireless pursuit of our public-service mission, and through our vigorous commitment to fiscal responsibility, transparency, and good stewardship. We are always mindful that without the kind consideration of our donors' philanthropic efforts, there would be no mission to pursue, nor help to offer. Thank you again to all who have given, and continue to give, to create real change for families in our region.
